Tamara and I went to Xuedou Mountain to see the famous Xuedou Temple and Big Buddha, however we didn’t have enough money on us at the time to buy entry tickets… instead we went for a walk and found another, smaller temple, where a woman taught us a little bit about the 7-stringed instrument, the guqin （古琴）.
We then went for a wander down the mountain and found a village and got very lost, so had to ask some locals to help us call a taxi home!
